  • The Institute was established in 2013 as a Health Sciences Training Institute.
  • Its goal is to build capacity in the health sector.
  • Our vision is to grow into a university that will award degrees.
  • We adhere to the standard enrolment requirements as set by the Ministry of Education and Sports, and implement the curriculum as approved by the professional councils.
  • Our students are examined by Uganda Allied Health Examination Board under the Ministry of Education.
  • The institute has sought accreditation by the National Council for Higher Education, MOE and Sports.
