Kampala Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) was established in 2013 as a health Science training institute.
Our vision is to grow into a university that will train men and women of higher integrity, God fearing and innovative to meet the demands of the community as well as research into the future to overcome upcoming health challenges all over the world.
Our mission is to provide sustainable, quality and affordable training and research without compromising the economically disadvantaged.
Our main objective is to build capacity in the health and technology sectors by sponsoring and retaining academic staff, train professionals for poor communities in collaboration with similar institutions in Uganda and abroad and to further academic excellence and research.
Our institute has a well equipped skills laboratory with modern teaching aids for practical purpose.
We have a memoranda of understanding with national, regional and district hospitals to provide hand-on training in real-world settings for our students
Our institute has both physical and e-library. The library is accessible from Monday to Friday from 8:00am-9:00pm.
KAMPALA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (KIST) was established in 2013 as a health Science training institute. Its goal is to build capacity in the health sector. Our major course offered is diploma in clinical medicine and community health.
